From the 10th November 2025, we’ll no longer be supporting 2kb predictions.
This is because AlphaGenome doesn’t perform well with very short sequence lengths (check out Figure 7 of our preprint for more details), so to ensure you’re getting the most representative AlphaGenome predictions, we’re sunsetting support for the shortest, 2kb sequence lengths.
We recommend where possible to make predictions at 1Mb for the best possible results.
