# Why I cannot load the metadata while I created a API KEY?

Looks like a few other folks in the forum have been discussing API keys as well. I suggest:

1. Double checking that you have copy pasted the correct API key into the Colab secrets ([SecretNotFoundError: Secret xxx does not exist](https://www.alphagenomecommunity.com/t/secretnotfounderror-secret-xxx-does-not-exist/101))

2. Restarting your colab and running it from the top, just to make sure that the cell is run in order that grabs your API key.
